This is a lovely, clean, mid-1940s Dick Tracy issue from the Four Color series, in a higher mid-grade condition. Unique rear cover with a rogues gallery of the nine major Tracy villains. Chester Gould was the creator of the iconic private eye, Dick Tracy. He wrote and drew the Dick Tracy comic strip which ran in newspapers from 1931 to 1977. An attractive book, this is a really fine addition to an investment collection. I love the golden age books, and particularly the art deco inks that are so deep and rich.
