WALT DISNEY’S DONALD DUCK FOUR COLOR #189 (DELL 1948). “The Old Castle’s Secret” by CARL BARKS. This book contains the 2nd appearance of UNCLE SCROOGE, appearing a few months before his first appearance in Comics and Stories. In danger of loosing his fortune, Uncle Scrooge enlists the help of Donald and his nephews to help him locate an old family treasure. VERY GOOD (4.0) condition. This is a solid, complete copy of this magazine with very nice color and much of the original luster. There is some wear along the spine and it wears through at a tiny spot at the upper end. Both staples firmly bind the cover and all interior pages. On the back cover there is a partial vertical crease line at the bottom center and at the top left hand corner tip there is a small chunk out. The interior pages look off-white.
