Four Color #567 1954 – Dell – Comic Book. This is an excellent example of Dell’s Four Color #567 with Robert Wagner as Prince Valiant photo cover. Prince Valiant Comes to Camelot, script by Dudley Nichols (screenplay) and Paul S. Newman (comic adaptation), art by Bob Fujitani; When Sligon the Viking takes the throne of King Aguar, the king sends his son Prince Valiant to Camelot to become a knight in King Arthur’s Court; Eventually Valiant and Boltar engage Sligon in a battle in King Aguar’s castle. Adapted from the 1954 movie “Prince Valiant, ” which was based on the “Prince Valiant” newspaper strip by Hal Foster. Dell Four Color was an American comic book anthology series published by Dell Comics between 1939 and 1962. The title is a reference to the four basic colors used when printing comic books.
