THE ITEM: I think this would make a “GOOD” if I had it slabbed…. Maybe a 1.8 FAIR/GOOD? At the worst (but I really don’t think so)… I see no obvious signs of restoration, but at this price I’m not going to guarantee it… Everything is tight, I count 64 pages and that seems right. If it don’t to you, let me know… There might be 3 or 4 small rips in the book (on pages), under an inch, I noticed 2… The book is NOT brittle or even very dark…. You may lose that small piece at the top, but it’s fairly attached and will stay there if you don’t forget to watch for it and knock it off… The main “defect” is that rip on mid-spine which does go through the whole book. It is under an inch, maybe an inch at it’s worst. It’s kind of tight (the rip). It’s like someone was going to rip it in half but decided not to…. The next “main defect” would be the flattened out spine.
