Featuring “Donald Duck Finds Pirate Gold”, this was Carl Barks’ very first Donald Duck story, and that’s why this is one of the most highly prized comics of the second Four Color series’ 1,300-plus issue run! Barks drew the cover as well as the story. Before long, he left the Disney studio behind and began devoting full time to writing and drawing the adventures of Donald and his feathered kin.
