Flash Gordon Four Color Comic 204 Dell 1948 Golden Age classic Paul Norris cover. Sadly it grades low as it has bends tears water damage the cover is detached spine split a third of the way a one inch tear through the entire book on the spine Rusty Staples a musty smell some discoloration in the bottom left corner perhaps mold and other defects. I would call it around a 1.5 fr/gd out of 10 condition. See pics and judge for yourself before purchasing as grading is subjective. The grading is only our opinion and we are not responsible if you choose to have it professionally graded after it leaves our possession or interprit the grading scale differently. We conform to the Overstreet grading guide standards as they have been the gold standard for more than 50 years in the comics industry and are more strict and accurate than most professional graders as they base their grading off of overstreets original grading system. Check our hand typed notes on each item in the description section where we list defects and grade for each individual comic for accurate grading information.

WALT DISNEY’S UNCLE SCROOGE #2 (DELL FOUR COLOR #456 – 1953) ESTFN+(6.5), ICONIC “BACK TO THE KLONDIKE” COVER! ONE STORY & ONE SHORT! Walt Disney’s Uncle Scrooge No. 2 Dell Four Color No. Uncle Scrooge Story – “Back to the Klondike”. Uncle Scrooge Short – Something Fishy Here. This vintage 1953 Golden Age comic is used and estimated to be in about Fine+ (6.5) condition! I base estimations of condition on strict adherence to definitions & grading scale criteria as detailed in Overstreet’s Comic Book Price Guide. The overall look of this book is better than Fine! Cover has nice color and reflectivity with a few minor small scuffs, one1/4 tear at top and almost no creases. Book lies mostly flat but with non-color-breaking minor bends at top and bottom right corners that causes slight (1/16-1//8) lift. Cover and centerfold are very well attached. Spine has light to moderate wear with very slight spine roll and a number of faint color-breaking stress lines, most apparent along bottom half. Interior pages are off-white with tanning at edges and some minor intermittent spot-staining at bottom edges. Inside covers show light discoloration. Back cover has apparent arrival date ink-stamp and other stains. Light discoloration of inside covers and light staining on back cover keep this book from higher grade estimate. Please carefully examine all actual images of covers, corners, & centerfold to judge the condition of this comic book for yourself!

Four Color Comics #199 from October, 1948. Carl Barks cover, stories, art, etc. He basically does it all in this one. Key issue because of that. Strictly graded at 4.0, or VG with Off-White to White pages. See my condition description. It is a very nice looking comic, with only light wear to cover and some light soiling to cover. One crease, that only partially breaks the color in lower right of front cover. I took a close-up pic, so you can judge for yourself. Encased in CGC plastic case.
