This is a LOT OF 31 ROY ROGERS and ROY ROGERS AND TRIGGER DELL WESTERN COMICS spanning from 1947 to 1956. Most of these are GOLDEN AGE comics. The issues included in this lot are as follows: #3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 19, 23, 27, 29, 30, 38, 40, 41, 45, 52, 60, 61, 72, 77, 81, 85, 89, 95, 100, 101, 102, & FOUR COLOR #153 (see last photo). The covers are al attached and all stories are COMPLETE. These issues are in low to mid grade condition and contains various amount of creasing, color fading/loss, tears, corner/margin chipping, indentations, and occasional cover stamps. See the photos to get a better sense of the condition. The inner pages are all enjoyable to read and maintain good coloring. Some inner pages have some small margin tears and corner creases. Bound FOUR COLOR Comic Books Vol. 50, #s 589 – 600. High grade, Western Pub. The issues are all solid, clean and tight. The qualities of the papers vary. All covers are clean with alot of the original sheen and gloss. The inside of the covers vary from off-white to deep tanning around the outer edges. No brittleness or flaking to any of these. Same goes for the interior pages. I just flipped through alot of these the last couple of days. All of these volumes have been stored away in smoke-free dark since I bought them back in these late 80s. All bindings are very tight with the exception of one volume (see the last picture on the gallery, if you already haven’t). The small stain patch on the binding is from the price stickers that were on the volumes when I bought them back in the 80s. Some interiors of the covers and pages are still a nice White-Off White. I believe these are from the WESTERN PUBLISHING FILES. This is the gist I got from reading someone else’s listing a few years back. Contents: Volume 50 = #s 589 – 600. #589 – Buck Jones #590 – Hansel and Gretel – partial photo cover. #591 – Western Marshall – KINSTLER art. Issue is missing from the volume. #592 – Super Circus – Photo cover. #593 – Oswald the Rabbit. #596 – Kurok, Son of Stone. #597 – The Little King, Otto Soglow. #598 – Captain Davey Jones. #599 – Ben Bowie and his Mountain Men. #600 – Daisy Duck’s Diary (#1) Disney, 11/54. # 591 was pulled from the volume before I bought them. Because of this all of my listings will be ending no later than Friday night midnight that’s Friday January 17th. I fully insure everything. Thanks for your time.
