Bound FOUR COLOR Comic Books Vol. 50, #s 589 – 600. High grade, Western Pub. The issues are all solid, clean and tight. The qualities of the papers vary. All covers are clean with alot of the original sheen and gloss. The inside of the covers vary from off-white to deep tanning around the outer edges. No brittleness or flaking to any of these. Same goes for the interior pages. I just flipped through alot of these the last couple of days. All of these volumes have been stored away in smoke-free dark since I bought them back in these late 80s. All bindings are very tight with the exception of one volume (see the last picture on the gallery, if you already haven’t). The small stain patch on the binding is from the price stickers that were on the volumes when I bought them back in the 80s. Some interiors of the covers and pages are still a nice White-Off White. I believe these are from the WESTERN PUBLISHING FILES. This is the gist I got from reading someone else’s listing a few years back.
