Peanuts #1 1958 dell fc 878. Very hard to find a decent copy. The dark ink cover enhances stress marks and creases. HARD TO FIND IN VERY GOOD CONDITION OR BETTER! Looks better than some higher graded copies I’ve seen. I guess it depends on who did the grading that day and how many books they looked at. CGC Graded Very Fine + (8.0) , it is amazing that a comic book from 1947 (based on the Disney movie from the 72 years ago) still in this great condition with vibrant colors and retains Off White to White Pages grade. There are only 23 CGC graded copies on record today form which only 8 have been graded higher than this copy. This should be expected since this was a usually a well read book most of the times mishandled by kids during their reading/play time. Please view my other items. Early Carl Barks – “Donald Duck and the Mummy’s Ring”. Small spots of color touch on front and back cover in black areas. Otherwise apparent condition: FR+. Missing original staple, everything held together now with three staples. Large pieces of tape inside covers as reinforcement at edges and along some creases, as well as tear sealing. Tape on tear at spine on first wrap. Piece of tape at center staple area on centerfold. Small tear through book in middle of spine, goes into edge of panels on some pages. Insides solid and complete!
