Dell Four Color #125 (1942 Series) The Lone Ranger 1946 VF+ (8.5 9.0 Range)
Condition: 8.5 – 9.0 Range. A really sharp copy with super quality paper and great color. The book is flat and crisp with a tight spine. It is super clean and has nice corners and edges. The whites on the front and back cover are white with rich color and the inside cover is also white. The cover has a small retailer mark in pencil over the “T” in the logo. There is a slight verticle curve in the book to the right of the spine but it is not a crease. Near the bottom of the book on the front cover the color is chipping slightly where it meets the edge of the spine. The book is stapled off center so the staples show on the front cover. The top staple is very clean. The bottom staple looks like it might have some slight rust on it but it doesn’t appear to have affected the paper around it at all. The internal pages show virtually no signs of age and are in fantastic condition. This is a really nice high grade copy! Another graded graded this as a straight Near Mint. So you have a good idea of what you will be receiving. If you have questions please feel free to send them my way. Images shown are scans or photos of the actual product, not stock images. About Our Grading: My client, Bruce Ayres, has been grading comics since 1975. We grade more conservatively and more accurately than the slabbing companies which tend to overgrade older and lower grade comics and which we do not endorse. Which isn’t to say that we never miss an important defect or make a poor call. But it is rare and I will go out of my way to make things right for you when I do. Because most of the items I sell are collectibles I pack your order so it will be protected and will arrive to you in the condition it was listed as. Regardless of which method I use I provide internal protection inside to keep the book from rubbing or bumping corners. All comics are bagged and boarded. Other products may be packaged differently but all are packed to be secure and protected. So I take great pride in being reliable in my packing.
